Harborough District Council has partnered with the RCC to launch a brand-new project; Helping Improve Rural Employability (HIRE). HIRE has been created to offer employability support to those who are long term unemployed and are living within the Harborough district.
Individuals are encouraged to take their first steps toward employment such as job search, training or volunteering. They are provided with free regular one to one mentoring and can be supported with job applications and creating their CV.
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
